Program Manager, Office of Policy Analysis and Development in the Center for Policy and Evaluation

The Administration for Community Living is seeking a Program Manager for the Office of Policy Analysis and Development in the Center for Policy and Evaluation. This is a full-time position based in Washington DC. The position involves a full range of Program Manager duties within the Department of Health and Human Services/Administration for Community Living/Center for Policy and Evaluation (CPE)/Office of Policy Analysis and Development (OPAD).

The duties include:

  • Providing expert advice, guidance, and support to the Deputy Administrator for Policy and Evaluation on the key mission critical issues, initiatives, and agency functions.

  • Coordinating policy and strategic initiatives on sensitive issues of great concern to the Deputy Administrator and the Administrator.

  • Overseeing the implementation of key strategic policy priorities and initiatives, offering leadership acumen, and demonstrating the ability to work with staff on all levels on serious and usually sensitive matters.

  • Collaborating with and advising on program management; reviewing existing programs, as well as the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives that reflect targeted goals of the Deputy Administrator and the Administrator.
