On Monday, July 12, 2021 ADvancing States submitted comments to CMS regarding their interim final rule on COVID–19 Vaccine Requirements for Long-Term Care Facilities. Specifically, the letter responds to provisions of the rule and requests for comment that address monitoring vaccination status in HCBS settings. In the comment letter, ADvancing states recommends that CMS provide resources, infrastructure, and assistance to states and providers that enable them to report the vaccination status of HCBS participants and providers easily and effectively.
