Webinar: Caregiving, Ethics, and Elder Mistreatment

The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) is hosting a webinar for National Family Caregivers Month on caregiving, ethics, and elder mistreatment. Caregiving for a family member, chosen family, partner, or friend, can be very rewarding and meaningful. It can also be challenging. The panelists of this webinar will discuss ethical issues in caregiving and practices to prevent mistreatment. The conversation will include the topics of healthcare, financial decision-making, self-determination, safety, autonomy, the changing nature of family relationships, and the link between caregiving and abuse.
