The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Office of Civil Rights is hosting a webinar on "Preventing and Addressing Disability Discrimination" where technical assistance will be provided on disability access and information about compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Section 504 prohibits the discrimination of individuals with disabilities in programs and activities that are federally funded. The aim of this webinar is to inform recipients of FEMA funding about all of the necessary information to provide equal access to people with disabilities. Webinar attendees have the opportunity to submit questions to the panelists before the event.
