Aging Services Program Specialist - Administration for Community Living (ACL)

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is seeking applications for their Aging Services Program Specialist role. As an Aging Services Program Specialist, the successful application will use their knowledge of and experience with the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Performing liaison role on elder maltreatment, adult protective services and elder rights with other Federal agencies and national organizations with the responsibility for providing the Administration on Aging (AoA) and ACL interagency activities.

  • Identifying policy issues and make recommendations to modify development and delivery of Adult Protective Services, remediation of elder maltreatment and advancement of elder rights, including other prevention, intervention, and remediation efforts for victims of adult maltreatment.

  • Serving as project officer for grants and contracts in assigned area of elder maltreatment and/or elder rights, responsible for the review of proposals, monitoring of grantee and contractor in fulfilling requirements of grants/contracts.

  • Providing assistance to other Federal agencies, private agencies and individuals seeking information about programs and policies related to adult maltreatment and/or elder rights.
