Protection and Advocacy for Native Americans with Disabilities

Join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for an LTSS webinar titled “Protection and Advocacy for Native Americans with Disabilities.” This webinar will provide an overview of the Native American Disability Law Center’s efforts to make sure Native people with disabilities have access to the services and resources they need to live as independently as possible. The webinar's objectives include helping attendees understand and acknowledge disability from a Native perspective, explaining how congregate facilities are monitored for abuse and neglect, and showcasing success stories in outreach and advocacy efforts.
