Movement Disorders Service Assignment and Refinement (SAR) Webinar

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has enlisted Acumen, LLC to create episode-based cost measures potentially applicable to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) cost performance category. As part of Wave 6 of measure development, Acumen is convening Clinician Expert Workgroups (“workgroups”) to provide input on all components of cost measure specifications. In this context, Acumen is hosting two part-day virtual workgroup webinars on October 17-18, that will be open to the public with a listen-only option. Members of the public are invited to listen in on the considerations that inform cost measure development. 

The dates and times for the workgroup are as follows:

• Movement Disorders (Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis [MS], Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [ALS], Huntington’s Disease): Tuesday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
• Non-Pressure Ulcers: Wednesday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
