Maximizing Public Funding Streams to Expand Access to Evidence-Based Substance Use Disorder Services

The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) is partnering with The Pew Charitable Trusts (Pew) to present a webinar introducing a new resource aimed at assisting states in enhancing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services through strategic utilization of public funding sources like Medicaid and emerging funding streams, including opioid settlement funds. This webinar will feature insights from the upcoming "State Principles for Financing Substance Use Care, Treatment, and Support Services" report, demonstrating how states can apply these principles to inform the financing and strategic planning of SUD services. Targeting state health care policymakers, organizations, and stakeholders, the 75-minute event will include subject matter experts who have applied these principles at the state level.
