World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Join us in commemorating World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) on June 15. This global event provides an opportunity to raise awareness and promote education on the issue of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

To get involved in the movement for elder justice, check out the resources and activities available through ACL's National Center on Elder Abuse. You can access tools and tips for raising awareness among your network, search for local and international WEAAD events, and participate in the #WEAAD615 challenge on social media.

Throughout the week of WEAAD, the NCEA will be hosting discussions and sharing resources on a variety of themes related to elder abuse.
