ADvancing States is thrilled to announce the selection of nine states that will be participating in the Cross-State Caregiving Collaborative, generously funded by The John A. Hartford Foundation. This initiative unites states with national experts to share and develop promising practices and policies that integrate family caregivers and direct care workers. Improving the connection between these two critical groups has the potential to improve the lives of paid and unpaid caregivers, as well as the people they care for. The selected states are:

- Idaho
- Maryland
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania
- Texas
- Utah
We are excited to kick off at the end of this month with our partners at PHI, NAC, and NASHP. States and partners will meet through the end of 2024, and we look forward to sharing insights from the collaborative with ADvancing States members and others in the aging and disability network.
