Medicaid 101: Basics and Recent Changes

Justice in Aging will hold a webinar on the basics of Medicaid and recent changes to the program. 

This webinar will provide an overview of the Medicaid program and is directed towards aging or disability advocates, legal aid advocates, and anyone new to the program. Presenters will cover how Medicaid is funded, Medicaid eligibility, key Medicaid protections, Medicaid’s role in financing health and long-term care for older adults, how Medicaid and Medicare work together, and an overview of Medicaid cuts in H.R. 1 and the impact on older adults.
