The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is currently accepting applications for the Manager of Annual Giving role. This position involves working with the Senior Director of Philanthropy to strengthen NCOA’s individual giving program to advance NCOA’s mission and grow unrestricted revenue. The Manager of Annual Giving is responsible for the development and management of annual giving strategies and campaigns for individuals including seasonal and monthly campaigns, social and paid media, email marketing, donor acquisition, and donor retention and advancement of multi-year commitments. Essential to this role is the development of donor stewardship initiatives including but not limited to a sustaining monthly giving program and bringing to the table new ideas for donor prospecting and marketing.
Positions at this level typically report to a senior director and require advanced knowledge and experience as well as management capabilities. Incumbents are required to make independent judgements within their scope of work and require minimal oversight. Incumbents generally have eight or more years of experience in their discipline and a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, as well as substantive experience at this level. Graduate-level degrees may be considered in lieu of experience.
