How the One Big Beautiful Bill Act's Implementation Affects Older Adults and Family Caregivers

The John A. Hartford Foundation will host a virtual, non-partisan policy briefing to explore the effects of H.R.1, otherwise known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, on older adults and family caregivers.

This policy briefing will discuss: 

• Which provisions of H.R.1 have been implemented and what is ahead
• How changes, including Medicaid work requirements, are affecting older adults and family caregivers
• What choices state governments and Medicaid agencies are grappling with given budget implications
• What federal and state policymakers can do to ensure support for older adults and caregivers
