A Deep Dive into HUD’s New Income and Asset Rules

Event Description: 

The National Center on Law and Elder Rights (NCLER) is hosting an upcoming webinar providing a deep dive into new regulations announced by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in January 2023. The Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) Sections 102, 103, and 104 govern important aspects of HUD programs including the calculation of income and assets, new rules for over-income tenants in public housing, and guidance on recertifying tenant income. 

Building Dementia Awareness in Tribal Communities through Interactive Programming: Implementing the Virtual Dementia Tour

Event Description: 

Join the ACL-funded National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (NADRC) for "Building Dementia Awareness in Tribal Communities through Interactive Programming: Implementing the Virtual Dementia Tour." The Virtual Dementia Tour is a proven method of building a greater understanding of dementia through the use of sensory tools and instruction. Within tribal communities, it has become a powerful way to build understanding and open the door to greater conversation and education about dementia.

2024 CMS National Training Program (NTP) Workshops

Event Description: 

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced that registration for the 2024 CMS NTP workshops will open in June. Sessions will be hosted both virtually and in-person and will provide essential program information and updates.

  • Tuesday, July 23 – Social Security & Medicare Enrollment

  • Wednesday, July 24 – Medicare Advantage
