Elder Fraud Webinar

The Elder Justice Coalition (EJC), in partnership with SilverShield, will hold a webinar on the growing threat of elder fraud and federal efforts to address scams targeting older adults.

The webinar will highlight advocates working directly with fraud victims and technology leaders developing tools to help reach and protect older adults. Senators Ashley Moody (R-FL) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) will provide remarks on federal efforts to address elder fraud, and Lifespan of Greater Rochester will discuss how it uses technology in its work with older adults to identify, address, and respond to scams. Participants will learn more about elder fraud and actions they can take to support elder justice.
