Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) Basics
Justice in Aging will hold a webinar covering key information about D-SNPS, including how the plans work, what to consider before enrolling, and how to navigate issues after enrollment.
Enrollment in D-SNPs has more than doubled since 2020, and an increasing number of states are focusing on D-SNPs as a tool for integrating care and improving coordination of services for their dual eligible populations. Despite this, many individuals working with older adults and people with disabilities enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid lack knowledge about D-SNPs. This webinar will provide insights on how to ensure that D-SNPs work effectively to coordinate care and benefits for dual eligibles.
