Data That Delivers: How AAAs Can Measure and Strengthen Caregiver Programs

USAging will hold a webinar exploring the role of the aging network in evaluating caregiver programs and demonstrating positive outcomes.

The National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers, developed under the RAISE Family Caregivers Act, calls for a comprehensive, coordinated approach to improve the lives of family caregivers. A core pillar of this strategy is the use of evidence-informed policies and programs, elevating program evaluation as an essential tool to determine effectiveness, identify who benefits most, and understand how and why interventions achieve their outcomes.

This webinar will provide insights on the value of program evaluation to their agency, describe the role of community-based organizations in the evaluation process, and share advice for aging network organizations interested in partnering with researchers to evaluate their caregiving programs.

  • Cara Goldstein, Assistant Director, Caregiving Services and Supports, USAging
  • Dr. Pamela Elfenbein, Professor, Sociology and Human Services, University of North Georgia
  • MaryLea Boatwright Quinn, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Division of Aging Services, Georgia Department of Human Services
