Grandparent scam perpetrators falsely state that a grandchild is in trouble with the law, sick, or injured and in need of an immediate transfer of a large sum of money to prevent dire harm to the grandchild. In this webinar, aging services professionals will learn:
- how to identify this fraud and empower grandparents to resist this scam,
- how to partner with law enforcement to go after scammers, and
- how to support and enable those who have experienced this scam to recover from their losses and regain their agency.
