Starting a Risk Detector Initiative in Your Community: Case Studies from the Field

Event Description: 
The Department of Justice is partnering with several legal services organizations on an initiative to use technology to better address elder abuse and financial exploitation. As part of this project, the DOJ is hosting a three-part webinar series about the project goals, outcomes, and available resources. The next webinar in the series is, "Starting a Risk Detector Initiative in Your Community: Case Studies from the Field". This webinar will discuss the Legal Risk Detector, a web-based screening and referral app designed for aging professionals. Participants will learn about two examples of the Risk Detector being successfully used in the community and hear tips for those interested in using this tool for similar outreach or referral efforts.
