Promising Practices Spotlight: Expanding Access to Rape Crisis Centers for Adults with I/DD

The Adult Protective Services Technical Assistance Resource Center (APS TARC) is an ACL resource center that works to enhance APS programs around the country. APS TARC is hosting an upcoming webinar focused on promising practices from the Massachusetts Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC). DPPC used money from an ACL grant awarded in 2015 to expand access to trauma and victim services for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are victims of sexual assault. During this webinar, staff from DPPC will discuss their work in detail and provide insight on on challenges, successes and sustainability.
