Promising Practices in Senior SNAP Enrollment

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is sponsoring a webinar on promising practices in Senior Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Enrollment. "Only 41% of low-income older adults who qualify for SNAP are enrolled in the food benefit." The webinar will highlight creative ways that organizations have addressed the challenges in increasing enrollment into SNAP for eligible older populations. The presenters for this webinar are Lura Barber, Senior Program Manager, Hunger Initiatives, NCOA; Jae Lim, Social Service Program Manager, The Korean Women’s Association in Washington State; and Erin Kee, JD, Program Specialist for Hunger Initiatives, Economic Security Group, NCOA.
