Join us to learn about volunteer caregiving programs that help promote the health, well-being and independence of older adults and people with disabilities. Over 650 programs are located throughout the United States, including the territories of Guam and Puerto Rico. Whether it’s a ride to the doctor, picking up groceries/pharmaceuticals, paperwork, or changing a lightbulb, older adults and people with disabilities benefit from a volunteer who lends a helping hand. This webinar, which reprises an AIRS conference workshop, will help participants to identify the contact for the nearest volunteer caregiving program in their area; understand the types of services available through Volunteer Caregiving; and make appropriate referrals to their local volunteer caregiving organization. Our presenters are Tammy Glenn, Acting Executive Director and Vice President for the National Volunteer Caregiving Network (NVCN), and Jim Archer, NVCN Trustee.
Real-time captioning will be provided for this webinar.
Pre-registration is required for this webinar. Space is limited so make sure to register as soon as possible.
