Legal Basics: Pensions

This webinar will discuss the legal basics of pensions. Recent polls show that older adults are more worried about running out of money than dying. Older adults are concerned about their retirement security. Legal services attorneys play a critical role in promoting retirement security by helping older adults understand and protect their pensions. This webinar will be presented by Emily Spreiser, Attorney at the Pension Rights Center and will cover:

• Basics of pensions rights;
• Understanding how to access pensions;
• Assisting clients working through pension challenges, including: multi-employer pensions and lost pensions; and
• Resources to assist attorneys on pensions questions.
