Event Description:
The International Short Break Association (ISBA) and its cohosts, the ARCH National Respite Network and Resource Center, the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Nursing, and the Respite Care Association of Wisconsin will be hosting the 2021 International Short Break Conference on June 22-25, 2021. The objective of the conferenece is to share knowledge and understanding of respite by highlighting international leaders in the field. The conference will feature live plenary sessions on International Respite and Caregiving Policy, and a Global Response to Respite and Caregiving in a Post-Pandemic World.
Keynote speakers:
- Dr. Vibha Krishnamurthy, expert consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO), and founder and Executive Director of the Ummeed Child Development Center in Mumbai, India
- Sister Edna Lonergan, 2020 AARP Purpose Prize Winner, and Founder and President of the acclaimed St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care in Milwaukee, WI.
This conference will be held on June 22-25, 2021.
