Assistive Technology: Know It Before You Need It

The Association of Assistive Technology Programs (ATAP) will hold a webinar exploring how to integrate assistive technology (AT) into aging services before challenges arise.

AT can make everyday tasks easier, safer, and more independent, yet many people first learn about these tools during a crisis. This webinar will focus on strategies to increase awareness of AT options for older adults and caregivers before urgent needs arise. Speakers will highlight how older adults currently learn about available supports, identify proactive outreach approaches, and discuss ways to strengthen collaboration between AT programs and aging network partners.
