On Tuesday, January 20, the Moving Forward Nursing Home Quality Coalition will hold a webinar exploring how Medicaid funding influences nursing home quality.
The Moving Forward Coalition seeks to increase the quality of life of individuals living and working in nursing homes. This webinar will highlight new research from UMass Boston and Miami University, where researchers have developed a database of per-diem rates, costs, and payment-to-cost ratios to examine links between funding adequacy and measurable outcomes, including staffing and five-star quality rating.
