Webinar on Challenging Ableism in Ageism Work

The American Society on Aging (ASA) is hosting a Learning Lab on Challenging Ableism in Ageism Work. This webinar will explore the intersection of ageism and ableism, how biases appear in policies, language, media, and how advocacy can be inclusive of all older adults, especially those living with disabilities. 

Participants will

  • Hear from leaders and peers working at the intersection of ageism and ableism
  • Reflect on assumptions about aging and ability
  • Engage in dialogue and practice reframing narratives toward interdependence and equity
