Ensuring Equal Access to Benefits Counseling To Maximize Community Inclusion

Event Description: 
The Disability Employment TA Center (DETAC) will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Olmstead decision with a webinar focusing on providing financial education resources and benefits counseling for people with disabilities seeking employment. The panel will discuss accessing financial education tools through centers for independent living. The webinar will also share collaborative efforts between state agencies, Hispanic and Latino community organizations, and the local Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) chapter in Colorado to enhance community inclusion and independent living for individuals with disabilities.
