Minimum Nursing Home Staffing Standard Final Rule Webinar

The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care (Consumer Voice) will host a webinar on CMS’s final rule on minimum staffing standards for long-term care facilities. The rule requires facilities provide, at a minimum, a total nurse staffing standard of 3.48 hours of care per resident per day (HPRD) composed of at least 0.55 registered nurse HPRD and 2.45 nurse aide HPRD. In addition, facilities will be required to have a registered nurse on-site twenty-four hours per day.
