NRHA Calls for Submissions of Rural-Healthy-Aging Initiatives & Best Practices

Event Description:

Improving access to quality age-inclusive care for older adults in rural communities requires flexible practices and approaches to help combat barriers. The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) has partnered with The John A. Hartford Foundation to enhance access to resources for rural healthy aging and age-inclusive care in rural America by engaging stakeholders and disseminating important information as a primary component of the National Rural Age-Friendly Initiative. As part of this initiative, NRHA is producing a compendium of rural-healthy-aging initiatives & best practices in rural communities. NRHA invites individuals who are part of an organization with programs, models, or policies aimed at enhancing the quality of aging in rural communities to consider completing a submission form to be included in their compendium of rural-healthy-aging initiatives & best practices. The work of this initiative will help share resources with rural stakeholders across the United States, providing accessible and creative practices to rural communities and their health providers.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, February 8 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
