Commit to Connect August Webinar: Innovative Volunteer Models to Promote Social Connection

Join Commit to Connect for a webinar to learn about innovative volunteer models promoting social connection and addressing social isolation and loneliness. This webinar will highlight how the Give 5 program established a volunteer model that offers retirees civic engagement opportunities that build upon their interests and skills. SAGE will also share how they created and sustained volunteer opportunities that help LGBTQ+ older adults remain engaged in their community. Attendees will also hear from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation as they highlight their peer mentoring program matching people with disabilities to spur connection.
