Food Insecurity and Other Health-Related Social Needs Among Older Adults

The webinar will focus on a new study included in the April 2022 issue of Health Affairs, “Health-Related Social Needs Among Older Adults Enrolled In Medicare Advantage (MA).” Authors Brian W. Powers and Stephanie M. Franklin from Humana, will present the findings of a national survey of older adults enrolled in MA, which found a high burden of health-related social needs, including financial strain, food insecurity, and poor housing quality.
