Health Disparities: Asking the Right Questions to Spark System Change in a Covid-19 World

The Aging and Disability Business Institute, a collaboration between the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) and ASA, is hosting a webinar providing an overview of the Detroit research study, “Dying Before Their Time”, which explored the reasons for premature death of people of color. Dr. Herbert C. Smitherman Jr. of the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University will highlight findings from data gathered over 20 years and discuss strategies to trigger systemic change in community public health.
