On Friday, May 1st, ADvancing States sent a letter to House Representatives DeGette (D-CO) and Upton (R-MI) regarding their 21st Century Cures 2.0 concept paper. In the letter, ADvancing States expressed serious concerns about the proposal to “remove geo-tracking and biometrics within EVV systems." This policy would conflict with previous CMS guidance and require significant changes to state EVV systems, resulting in delays in system rollout and cost increases.
