Falls and Brain Injuries Among Older Adults, Part 1: Connection, Prevention, and Resources

This webinar explores the connection between falls and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in older adults. It is the first in a two-part collaborative series between the National Council on Aging and the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA). This first webinar will cover falls and TBI 101, highlight risk factors, introduce fall and brain injury detection assessments, and discuss prevention and education resources. Presenters will also include strategies for service providers working with older adults and with individuals with TBI.
