Even while facing new challenges, reduced budgets, and growing demand for HCBS services, states continue to effectively engage and serve their citizens. The National Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference highlights these achievements, allowing states to share innovative programs, present unique partnerships, and recognize the work of their peers.
The HCBS Conference will be held in Baltimore, MD August 27-30, 2018. As in past years, it will include federal, state, and local policymakers and those who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. The conference always sees a strong presence from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Administration for Community Living, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, as well as other federal agencies.
The 2017 National HCBS Conference was the largest to date, with over 1,500 attendees traveling from all 50 states, as well as Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You will want to be a part of the action in 2018!
