Webinar: An Introduction to the New Indirect Cost Rate Requirements for Centers for Independent Living

Event Description:

The National Council on Independent Living's (NCIL) CIL-NET is sponsoring a webinar on an introduction to the new indirect cost rate requirements for Centers for Independent Living(CIL). This past July, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) notified all Centers for Independent Living receiving federal funds that they would need to submit an indirect cost rate proposal instead of the cost allocation plans required by the US Department of Education. This webinar will teach CILs about the new requirements set by DHS.   The webinar costs $75.00 per site, and NCIL encourages as many people to gather in each site as possible. Presenters will be John Heveron, President of Heveron & Heveron CPAs; and Paula McElwee, Technical Assistance Coordinator, IL-NET project, ILRU. The recommended audience members are CIL and SILC executive directors, financial and program managers, and other staff involved in accounting and management of CILs receiving federal awards. The webinar will take place on October 7, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
