Cross-State Collaboration

Participating states meet collectively every-other-month to discuss interRAI implementation challenges and successes, share strategies, and provide input on the ADvancing interRAI initiative. States are able to learn from one another regarding decisions on implementing changes to eligibility determinations and allocation for services based on assessment responses. These peer sessions with state leaders will continuously improve use, training, and data use of interRAI systems.

ADvancing interRAI cross-state collaboration efforts:

  • Guide project development
  • Include opportunities for sharing information and lessons learned, including regular meetings and calls, as well as in-person networking opportunities at the HCBS Conference
  • Are guided by participating state feedback and will evolve over time to include additional components, such as federal policy advocacy
