The Administration for Community Living is hosting a webinar on Title VI. Every three years, Tribal Communities, Native Alaskan Villages and Native Hawaiian Organizations have an opportunity to reapply for their Title VI Grants for elder services. Reapplication is necessary in order to continue providing services. ACL is holding a webinar to offer assistance with the process as Title VI grant applications are due on December 5, 2016. Topics covered in the webinar include: needs assessments; how to use the application form; tips and tricks for a successful application; common errors; and how to count unduplicated elders. Speakers for the presentation will be Shelly Zylstra, Aging Services Program Specialist, ACL/AoA and Susan Raymond, Aging Services Program Specialist, ACL/AoA. The webinar will take place on Monday, October 24, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET.
