On Monday, November 16, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the final rule for the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model. CJR will begin on April 1, 2016, and holds hospitals accountable for the care they provide to Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries during hip and knee replacements and other procedures on the legs. CMS is holding a webinar to discuss the final rule and respond to questions from stakeholders. Pre-registration is required, large audiences are anticipated so please register early.
