The National Center on Law & Elder Rights is hosting a webinar to discuss eligibility requirements for Social Security benefits for spouses, ex-spouses, children, and parents of workers. The webinar will also cover eligibility requirements for Social Security benefits for children of retired, disabled, or deceased workers. The goal of this webinar is to help inform people about their potential eligibility that they may not have been aware of.

The National Center on Law & Elder Rights is holding a training webinar to discuss the options to address financial exploitation by family members including mediation, restorative justice, and other solutions to preserve familial relationships. The training will also cover information on the importance of advanced planning and how to work with banks and financial institutions to prevent financial exploitation by family members and maintain autonomy.

NCIL’s Annual Conference will take place onsite in Washington, DC, July 22-25, 2024. AARP invites participation in a free workshop series discussing student loan options, including the new Savi Student Loan Repayment Tool. This workshop will take place from Wednesday, April 10 to Friday, April 12. 

The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) has scheduled an upcoming webinar to highlight the importance of understanding the impact dementia-related illnesses have on a person’s ability to communicate. As a result, care partners and care professionals may need to shift their communication approach and gain insight into the variety of ways individuals living with dementia may communicate.

Leavitt Partners, in collaboration with Health Management Associates (HMA), will host an upcoming webinar titled “The Future of Medicare Advantage Supplemental Benefits.” Speakers will discuss the growth in Medicare Advantage (MA) supplemental benefits, including opportunities and challenges MA plans face in offering benefits, as well as the issues supplemental benefit providers face in administering supplemental benefits.

Join the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) and the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) from April to October 2024 for a learning collaborative focused on addressing malnutrition at the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) level.
