The Consumer Voice annual conference is an excellent opportunity to network with advocates and colleagues from across the country; interact directly with long-term care consumers; hear from the best speakers in the field; receive the latest long-term care policy updates from key experts; and acquire tools and resources that will re-energize efforts and help put advocacy into action.

The conference theme, Get in Tune with Respite, will challenge conference attendees to learn and share how respite can create harmony for families in caregiving situations.

The Conference will recognize the key leadership role that the legal profession plays in eliminating barriers and ensuring that persons with disabilities have full and equal opportunity and access to participate wholly in society. Conference topics include Reasonable accommodations in the workplace, Discipline & bullying of students with disabilities, Employee leave requests, High stakes testing and students with disabilities, and much more.

The National Aging I&R/A Support Center is holding the 24th Annual National Aging Information and Referral Symposium in conjunction with the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems’ (AIRS) 2014 I&R/A Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, June 1-4, 2014.

The vision of the 2013 Hawaii HCBS Conference is to bring a national level conference to Hawaii. The Hawaii Executive Office on Aging has partnered with ADvancing States to run this event. Many of you may know that ADvancing States sponsors the national HCBS conference each year and we are pleased that they have agreed to power this event. Our participants will include federal, state, and local policymakers and those who administer, manage and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. Participants will hear from leaders from the U.S.

The NRCPDS is excited to be hosting our 5th Biennial Financial Management Services (FMS) Conference this November 4-5, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, MD. The FMS Conference will be a day-and-a-half long and will feature workshops with participant direction tax experts within the Internal Revenue Service as well as with other FMS specialists and experts.

Each year, approximately 100 key state and federal government employees, consumers, Brain Injury Association of America chartered State affiliates, and other professionals responsible for administering an array of brain injury prevention, rehabilitation, community integration programs and services, assemble for this conference.
