ACL has annouced the date of the fourth meeting of the Advisory Council to Support Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (SGRG). The Advisory Council to Support Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is charged with identifying, promoting, coordinating, and disseminating to the public information, resources, and the best practices available to help grandparents and other older relatives meet the needs of the children in their care, and maintain their own physical, mental health and emotional well-being.

The September webinar will explore unique end of life care considerations for individuals with dementia. The presentation will include sections on evidence and goal based decision making, palliative care, partnering with staff and families to improve advance care planning for residents of VA community living centers with dementia, and the indigenous perspective on end of life.
