Measuring High Performers and Assessing Readiness to Change: Looking Beyond the Lamppost

Event Description:

Medical practices across the country are preparing to undergo transformations that will better enable them to provide evidence-based care, improve patient outcomes, and lower costs. New payment models and other incentive programs are encouraging practices to shift their health care from fee-for-service to value-based purchasing systems, such as accountable care organizations (ACOs), bundled payment models, and patient-centered medical homes (PCMHs).

Mathematica Policy Research is hosting a Forum and Webinar Presented by the Center on Health Care Effectiveness on Wednesday, November 19, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET at Mathematica's Washington, DC office or via webinar, to discuss attributes that appear to be associated with successful adaptation of the ACO model. Lunch will be provided.
