ACL has released a NOFO to expand and scale an evidence-based falls prevention program and a clinical falls prevention intervention.
The purpose of this NOFO is to award cooperative agreements to scale the in-person Stepping On program with the STEADI clinical intervention as part of a statewide, multi-factorial falls prevention approach. Applicants must demonstrate how they will pair Stepping On with STEADI, as well as how these components will be operationalized in a whole-person, integrated model. The main population served through this funding must be adults 60 and older, prioritized by greatest social and economic need, in alignment with the Older Americans Act.
Eligible applicants include State Units on Aging, nonprofits, tribal governments or organizations, faith- or community-based organizations, hospitals, or institutions of higher education.
Applications for this NOFO are due on Wednesday, July 29, at 11:59 p.m.
