Personal Assist Recruitment Video

This video was produced & directed by the Connecticut C-PASS grantee, UCONN Center on Disabilities, with assistance from consumers & PCAs participating in various HCBS waiver programs. Included are perspectives from individuals & family members representing various disabilities & ages, explaining why personal assistants are important parts of their daily lives, & why being a personal assistant can be a challenging and rewarding career. The recruitment tool will be available in various formats.

West Virginia Real Choice Community Outreach Material

For the last two years, WV Real Choice has worked in collaboration with other agencies and organizations to create improvements in long term support systems so persons with disabilities and/or long term illnesses can make their own choices and have the necessary supports to live and work in their communities. Maine\'s ADRC Newsletter: Dashing News

This publication is one method of communication for the ADRC between coalition members, state stakeholders, and the technical advisory group. Children with Special Health Care Needs Radio Ad Campaign

The Children with Special Health Care Needs Program developed the outreach materials in October and November of 2004. You will find the radio scripts and sample radio ads for many of the outreach campaigns including: Clinging to Hope, Aphasia, Cleft Lip, PKU, Severe Burns, Heart Defects, Newborn Screenings, Basic 800 info spot, and the Covering Kids and Families Health Care Project. The program aired in both English and Spanish in cooperation with the Nevada Broadcasters Association.

Medicaid Matters Website

This website was developed through a joint effort by a number of community agency and provider groups as a resource for people working to protect Medicaid. The site offers ready-to-use toolkit of messages, materials and dissemination ideas. There are resources on Federal updates and action steps, ideas on ways to reach the media, background, tips and links and real stories from the 50 million Americans that Medicaid Matters to most.
