EBB helps households struggling to pay for internet service during the pandemic by connecting them to jobs, critical healthcare services, and virtual classrooms. The webinar will cover eligibility, how EBB works, and how to help people enroll, there will also be a brief question and answer period following the presentation.

COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force Meeting

Event Description: 

The HHS Office of Minority Health will host a meeting today, March 26th of the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force. The Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the President to eliminate health and social disparities that result in disproportionately higher rates of exposure, illness, hospitalization and death related to COVID-19, and for preventing such inequities in the future.

NEVVA Webinar Series: EVV 2.0 & How It Can Influence National EVV Policy

Event Description: 

The 21st Century Cures Act requires states to have an electronic visit verification (EVV) system in place for personal care services beginning in 2021, and home healthcare services beginning in 2023. As of March 2021, 29 states were compliant with the mandate and 22 states were out of compliance. Though several states had EVV systems in place before the Cures Act became law, most states implemented or are working to implement systems in response to the Act’s mandate.
