The National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) is hosting a webinar on the basics of Medicaid. The webinar is free for NCIL members and has a cost of $25 for non-members and registration is limited. Learning objectives for the webinar include: understanding what Medicaid decisions are state and federal; introducing mechanisms for modifying state programs; and introducing Medicaid managed care. Speakers for the webinar are Ken Smith, CEO, Dual Eligible and Long Term Supports and Services Populations, UnitedHealth Group and Kelly Buckland, Executive Director, NCIL. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
