Resource Spotlight: Elder Abuse

While nursing home residents have a federally protected right to be free from abuse, it is estimated that one in 10 older adults experiences some form of abuse or neglect. Abuse and neglect can come in many forms, including sexual abuse, financial exploitation, privacy issues, resident-to-resident mistreatment, and issues related to surveillance/electronic monitoring.
