Sustaining Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia Programming Beyond ACL Grants
Article Publication Date
Summary
The National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (NADRC) recently released a report demonstrating the positive impacts of ACL’s dementia grant program, even after grant funding ends.
This report highlights findings from a survey conducted with grant recipients that had been without ACL grant funding for at least one year. Almost all recipients surveyed sustained some or all of their grant-funded activities after their grant funding ended, and a majority of those activities were still being offered at the time of the survey. Many sustained activities had been expanded to serve more people or adapted to meet different needs.
